During the five-and-a-half-year project, the PROSAFE project has provided a platform for forward-looking conversations on improving food safety in the CLMV region. In the project, 50 training courses were held, and a total of 1286 participants and 600 local training courses arranged by former participants were shared with a population of nearly 4,000.

Through the PROSAFE project, 230 private enterprises, mostly SMEs, were able to improve their food safety management systems and operations. Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences also celebrated World Food Safety Day on June 7, 2023, in collaboration with Mekong Institute to provide a better understanding of the food safety standards highlighting their importance in market systems, and brainstorm ways to catalyst the development of the environment that fosters better compliance with the standards.

Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences is helping food producers, including small-holder farmers, and providing technical assistance to quality control of food products to the factories and entrepreneurs in the food ecosystem to gain more market opportunities with continuous effort and cooperation with local and international partner organizations.
