Two workshops held in Taunggyi and Mandalay as part of Women Entrepreneurship Program (WEP)

The Women Entrepreneurship Program for Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs, organized by Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences and the Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network (MYANWEN) and supported by USAID Feed The Future, conducted on-ground workshops in Royal Taunggyi Hotel, Taunggyi, and EASE Hotel, Mandalay on July 25 and 28 of 2023, respectively.

During the two-day workshops:

1. Fireside chats were conducted with women entrepreneurs in the WEP Program.

2. A panel discussion was held on "Understanding the Systemic Challenges and Exploring Ways to Address Them Urgently."

3. Additionally, experts from various fields shared their insights and discussions. A total of 140 women entrepreneurs attended the two-day event.

Through these workshops, women entrepreneurs leading the agricultural sector and food production industry gained a deeper understanding of business opportunities and established more local and international networks. We believe these will significantly enhance their business opportunities.

Through the Women Entrepreneurship Program (WEP), Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences aims to empower Myanmar women entrepreneurs by enhancing their business capabilities and providing knowledge in technology, agriculture, and food production sectors.
