MILS signed a MoU with Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network (MYANWEN)

On December 7, 2022, Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences (MILS) and Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network (MYANWEN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish and extend mutually beneficial collaboration for providing more growth opportunities as well as building resilience for women entrepreneurs and women-led businesses in Myanmar’s agriculture and food sector including micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).


With the support of Feed the Future Burma Agriculture and Food Systems Development Activity (AFDA), MILS and MYANWEN are currently implementing the "Women Entrepreneurship Program" which will last for 8 months to provide various kinds of skills, knowledge, and capacity-building support to women entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector to advance their businesses to the next level.


Through the broader understandings under this MoU, MYANWEN is opening doors for MILS to its established network of women entrepreneurs and women-led businesses in Myanmar’s agri-food sector to provide essential technical knowledge, skills and know-how will help women entrepreneurs produce safer, higher-quality products, and improve market access.
